Are you a young member at conference? Come along to our informal gathering to meet other young members at conference, hear from young members that have attended conference before and find out more about Young Labour events at conference.

Young members speech writing workshop
This is a unique opportunity for young members to learn top tips on how to write a speech from Kirsty McNeill. Kirsty was a Downing Street speech writer and named no 5 speaker in the world at the World University Debating Championships. She is also a former Labour councillor and PPC. All young members are welcome to attend but this session may be of particular use to young delegates who are thinking of giving a speech during conference.

Young Labour Fringe: tackling youth homelessness
Young Labour is delighted to be hosting a discussion on our first ever priority campaign with the Shadow Secretary of State for Communities & Local Government Hilary Benn MP, Chief Executive of Centrepoint Seyi Obakin, CWU Assistant Secretary CWU Simon Sapper and other guest speakers.

Winning with young women
In a climate of Government policy and funding cuts targeting women it is vital that the Labour Party deliver an alternative and plan how we can best take our message to young women. Young Labour is delighted to be hosting an event where young women will be able to share ideas and hear from other inspirational women including Minister of State for Equalities Kate Green MP, Assistant General Secretary of UNITE & Labour Party Treasurer Diana Holland & former NUS National Women’s Officer Estelle Hart.
