Young Labour nominates Jeremy Corbyn MP

After a balanced and comradely debate, the Young Labour national committee will be using their supporting nomination in the leadership contest to nominate Jeremy Corbyn MP.

He offers young people hope to change this country: hope for secure housing, investment in jobs and access to education for all.

Since his election in September 2015, Jeremy Corbyn MP has engaged very positively with Young Labour, attending our committee meetings and being the first Labour leader to speak to Young Labour conference in over a decade.

We wish both candidates well in the election and hope that Young Labour members and young people are both considered and valued by the candidates in this contest.

Caroline Hill

Chair of Young Labour
