Conference Fringe Event with Ed Balls & Polly Toynbee Confirmed, July 2011
Young Labour are delighted to confirm our fringe at this year’s Labour Party Annual Conference will be on the topic of youth unemployment with a panel of speakers including the Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls.
Entitled ‘Britain’s Lost Talent: how we tackle youth unemployment’, the discussion will be chaired by renowned Guardian journalist Polly Toynbee and alongside the Shadow Chancellor the panel will include Chair of Young Labour, Susan Nash and Liverpool’s youngest Councillor Jake Morrison.
The event will be held at lunchtime on Wednesday 28th September as part of the range of activities being organised by Young Labour for the first ever Youth Conference @ Annual Conference. Further details of this event and all Young Labour events at conference can be found here.
